Neil Moffat is a professional Member of the Drystone Walling Association
(DSWA) with over 15 years Drystone Dyking experience. Neil is also a qualified
Training Instructor and holds regular Training Courses within the Scottish
Borders. All of Neil's Courses are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
Neil offers a 2
day dyking training courses for those interested in:-
Grasping the
basic techniques of drystone dyking (Beginners Stage 1);
Building or restoring
their own drystone dykes/garden walls (Beginners Stage 2) Note: you must
have completed Beginners Stage 1 before undertaking Stage 2.
And professional
designers, engineers, inspectors & project owners who design &
oversee drystone projects

What each dry stone
training package offers:-
Beginners Stage 1: Weekend Package For those with no dyking experience.
Beginners Stage 2: Weekend Package For those who have completed Stage
1.
Refresher Courses Are available for anyone who has completed Drystone
Walling Courses in the past and would like a refresher on a specific area
of dyking, brush up skills, etc.

SPECIAL
REQUIREMENTS
· For this
course you will need warm waterproof clothing, outdoor footwear and work
gloves. Steel toe capped boots or other safety footwear is recommended.
· Trainees
should bring a packed lunch & suitable refreshments.
· All tools,
protective eyewear & dry stone materials will be provided.
· All of
Neil Moffat's courses are covered by Public Liability Insurance - certificates
can be inspected on request.
